This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from one or more of our services on www.dronecentre.com (the “Site”). Our product is a (SASS) software as a service package thus solutions from android google play and apple IOS are built into the functionality of how are web and cellular applications work.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit use our service, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, phone number, RPAS pilot license number, flight address, and flight time. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, and/or your mobile operating system. This information is collected for statistical purposes only.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Stripe to power purchases through our application – you can read more about how Stripe uses your Personal Information here: https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, a search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
• Provide customers with ongoing service, to ensure proper services and to better support customers when using our services;
• Improve our products and services offerings;
• Protect against error and fraud;
• Comply with legal and audit requirements;
• Communicate with customers and suppliers;
• Profile users to improve its advertising;
• Communicate new products and services or any other information about Air Data;
• Communicate invitation for activities or events.
Drone Centre may also use personal information to create statistics about our company. These statistics do not contain information that could personally identify any individual customer, employee or supplier.
DATA COLLECTION AND SECURITY
Does your app collect or share any personal info, location data, financial info, and photo’s and videos?/
In order for our app to function we require certain data to be collected and distributed to ensure functionality of the onboard phone application both your approximate and precise real time location is stored locally for functionality of one or more data parameters to enable access to flying your drone. This is defined as:
Approximate location: User or device physical location to an area greater than or equal to 3 square kilometers, such as the city a user is in, or location provided by your Android device or IOS device
Precise location: User or device physical location within an area less than 3 square kilometers, such as your location provided by your Android’ or IOS device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Data
Usage of precise/approximate location from third parties: The usage of your of cellular phones precise/approximate location may be used initially by the drone manufacturer ie third party in registering your aircrafts serial number to their national database. The usage of this data is for security and authenticity purposes only and is immediately deleted post successful registration.
At each startup, the app registers itself through the URL hxxps://mydjiflight.dji.com/api/v2/register_device with information related to the app.
Bypassing third party data request:
If you would like to bypass the manufacters third party request of data users are encouraged to select local data mode on their cellular application.
The location of the flights you record using the app will be saved locally ONLY and will be contained in the export files which you may choose to email to yourself or others. The app WILL NOT share or transmit any GPS coordinates without your expressed approval.
We also require personal information from our application to be collected including name, user ID, email address, phone number, and financial information to process login of our application; and to create an account profile.
Names, user IDs, email address’s, and phone number’s maybe purged upon a users request. Financial information is only required if users choose to subscribe to our app, and is not required. If users choose to subscribe to our application financial data is transmitted via our third party for payment processing. Encryption in transit: Data collected or shared by our app is encrypted in transit from your device to our servers. How ever users are not required to login if they are not comfortable and may use local data mode on their device. The only information collected, is related to the device in use, and user profile settings to operate the device locally and is not related to a person.
Deletion request mechanism: If a user is not comfortable with our application and its collection of data all data may be deleted by unsubscribing from our app. Additionally users may delete local information from there cellular devices by selecting the X close button on saved checklist, and data uploads.
Screen Sharing Data: For the purpose of live feed; users can opt to send data from their phones screens to an address selected by them via webrtc or rtmp protocal. The screen sharing functionality is used by users who would like remote video from their drone. As an advisory when screen sharing is enabled all data available on your phones screen is broadcasted; this includes phones home screen, navigational screen or any screen in view when the application is opened.
Uploading users image information:
Photo uploads and imagery: Our app will upload user data off the device for telemetry requisitioning.
The third party drone SDK may also request additional information in transit.

Data types used by our application for successful start up and running included:
- Location
- Personal Info (includes) photo/video, messaging and files
- App Info and Performance
- Device ID information
DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
